This Jaecoo J6 visited Auto Edition Singapore for a complete car audio upgrade featuring Dynaudio 212 front speakers, Rebec RT6 rear speakers, an Audío Ed DSP amplifier, a Rebec U6.9 subwoofer and Audío Ed front-door soundproofing. The setup aims to improve vocal clarity, musical detail and bass response across the cabin.
Jaecoo J6 Car Audio Upgrade
This Jaecoo J6 audio upgrade combines front and rear component speakers with DSP amplification and a dedicated subwoofer. Audío Ed soundproofing was also applied to the front doors to help control panel vibration around the front speakers.
Front Speakers – Dynaudio 212
The front speakers were upgraded to Dynaudio Esotan 212 component speakers, with separate mid-bass drivers, tweeters and passive crossovers. The front speaker upgrade aims to improve vocal definition and musical detail for the driver and front passenger.
Front Door Soundproofing – Audío Ed
Audío Ed soundproofing material was applied to the front doors. The treatment helps damp unwanted panel vibration and provides a more stable environment for the Dynaudio front speakers.
Rear Speakers – Rebec RT6
The rear speakers were upgraded to Rebec RT6 component speakers, with separate mid-bass drivers and tweeters. These provide rear-cabin audio and complement the Dynaudio 212 front component speakers.
DSP Amplifier – Audío Ed
An Audío Ed DSP amplifier was included to provide amplification and digital sound adjustment for the upgraded system. DSP control allows the speaker levels, frequency balance and timing to be adjusted to suit the listening position and cabin.
Subwoofer – Rebec U6.9
A Rebec U6.9 subwoofer was added to support the low-frequency range. Its role is to provide bass support alongside the front and rear speakers, with the aim of achieving a fuller and more balanced listening experience.
Plug & Play Installation for Jaecoo J6
For most compatible vehicles, speaker and DSP upgrades are carried out using Plug & Play connections where applicable, without cutting the vehicle’s original wiring.
